The world’s biggest exhibition in greenhouse industry Growtech Eurasia 18th International Greenhouse, Agricultural Technology and Livestock Equipment Fair has opened its doors on November 28 on an area of 50.000 square meters at Antalya Expo Center.
A record number of visitors from 160 countries have registered online for the Exhibition where 800 companies and brands from more than 30 countries will be exhibiting and China, South Korea, Netherlands, Spain and Hungary will be exhibiting with country pavilions. Growtech Eurasia which will be open for visit until December 1 is getting prepared to welcome more than 85000 visitors.
Growtech Eurasia 18th International Greenhouse, Agricultural Technology and Livestock Equipment Fair will be held on November 28 – December 1 at Antalya Expo Center under the main theme of “ Global Engagement of Agriculture and Technology “. 800 companies and brands from more than 30 countries will be participating at the exhibition held on an area of 50,000 square meters under a total of 5 categories, which are “ Seed “ , Greenhouse and Irrigation Technologies “ Plant Nutrition and Protection “, “ Tractors and Agricultural Machinery “ and “ Livestock”.
Record number of online visitor registration from 160 countries
The Exhibition Director Engin Er, who stated that the world’s biggest exhibition in greenhouse industry Growtech Eurasia has been held in Antalya for 18 years said “ Growtech has always been an exhibition distinguished by its high number of exhibitors and visitors and the volume of business it creates. In addition to the high number of international exhibitors and brands, we have received a record number of online visitor registrations from 160 countries before the exhibition this year. Considering that there are 193 countries in the world, we can easily say that Growtech will break its own records this year as well.The countries with the highest number of visitor registration are; India, Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Iraq, Tunisia and Palestine.
National, Local and International Press Are Following Growtech Exhibition
Stating that the international press from Hungary, Ukraine, Georgia, Israel, Serbia and Iraq are following the exhibition this year in addition to the national and local press, Growtech Exhibition Director Engin Er continued: “ China, South Korea, Netherlands, Spain and, for the first time ever, Hungary will be exhibiting with a country pavilion at Growtech. We are hosting the Hosted Buyer Program under the coordinatorship of T.R. Ministry of Trade and the Organization of West Mediterranean Exporters Association (WMEA). 29 companies from Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Moldova and Jordan will be in the program. In addition to this, independent buyer groups and associations will be visiting our exhibition this year. To give an example, buyer groups from Uzbekistan and Russia, which are the countries with the largest investments in greenhouse in the world, are coming to Growtech Fair to make purchase.”

Growtech International Agriculture Fair where the technological and the latest developments in the agriculture sector are introduced every year will host many events this year as well. Agricultural Conversations, which was organized last year for the first time and attracted great attention, will be held for the second time at Growtech Conference Area on Thursday, November 29.Distinguished names such as Hakkı Bahar – Chairman of West Mediterranean Exporters Association (WMEA),Hüseyin Eroğlu – Member of Board of Directors of Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO), Bülent Aytekin -Chairman of Association of Greenhouse Construction, Hardware and Equipment Manufacturers and Exporters (SERKONDER) and Ziya Yıldızgil- Business Development Manager from Yüksel Seeds will be discussing the present and future of the sector.
The Winners Will Receive ATSO Growtech Agriculture Innovation Awards andPlant Breeding Project Market (BIPP) Awards
With the 11th ATSO Growtech Agricultural Innovation Awards held within the scope of the exhibition in cooperation with Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, private sector and public agencies operating in the agricultural sector and innovative products and services that create sectoral awareness will be supported. Moreover; Development & Research Plant Breeding Project Market (BIPP) Awards Ceremony organized in coordination with Mediterranean Technology Transfer Office, ATSO and TÜRKTOB (Turkish Association of Seed Growers) will be held within the scope of the exhibition. Davut Çetin – Chairman of Board of Directors of ATSO, Prof. Dr. Davut Karayel – Dean of Akdeniz University Faculty of Agriculture and Kamil Yılmaz Chairman of Board of Directors from TÜRKTOB will be participating in the awards ceremonies which will be held at the exhibition on November 29.
